🧬 Breeding System

• Combine a male and female horse to create a new generation

• Only Gen0 horses are naturally born and were minted during the Genesis phase

• Each horse has limited breeding capacity

• Traits from parent horses are inherited and mutated in offspring

🏋️ Trainable Skills

In HORSY V2, every horse has a unique skill profile consisting of 8 trainable attributes. These attributes directly influence race outcomes based on race type, randomness, and trait synergy. Players can improve these skills over time using the $HORSY token.

Speed	Determines top-end velocity on long straights. Essential for sprint-heavy tracks.
Acceleration	Affects how quickly a horse reaches its max speed. Crucial for fast starts and post-boost surges.
Agility	Impacts how well a horse handles curves or recovers from stumbles.
Recovery	Reduces fatigue penalty and helps regain stamina between phases.
Endurance	Influences how long a horse can maintain high performance across long distances.
Adaptability	Determines how well a horse performs in varying track conditions (wet, rough, sand, etc.).
Consistency	Reduces randomness and stabilizes performance across multiple races.
Flair	Unlocks rare animations, flashy finishes, and may grant slight edge in tight finishes.

🧪 Training Mechanics

• Players can spend $HORSY tokens to train any of the 8 skills.

• Training costs increase as the star rating rises.

• Each skill can be trained up to a maximum of 5 stars.

• Players choose which skill(s) to improve, allowing strategic build paths.

🏆 Win-Based Skill Progression

In addition to manual training:

• After each race victory, there’s a small percentage chance that a horse will gain +0.5 star in a random skill.

• This promotes active racing and rewards skilled players with passive progress.

🎯 Boosts & Traits

In HORSY V2, every horse is more than just a digital collectible — it’s a unique combination of traits and boosts that directly influence its racing performance.

🧬 NFT-Based Boosts

Each horse NFT comes with inherent, permanent boosts based on its on-chain metadata and traits. These include factors such as:

• Rarity (e.g., Legendary, Epic, Common)

• Accessories (e.g., crown, wings, armor, saddle type)

• Visual features (e.g., aura, eye glow, color type)

These traits determine the horse's base boost profile — small performance advantages that apply in every race and cannot be changed. For example:

• A horse wearing a crown might get a +2% bonus to Consistency

• A horse with wings might receive enhanced Speed

These trait-based boosts add strategic value to collecting and owning rare or visually distinct NFTs.

🍎 In-Race Consumable Items

Before a race, players can apply single-use items to temporarily improve performance. These are called Consumables and can be purchased from the HORSY Marketplace with the $HORSY token.

Items must be applied placing a bet and each horse can use only one item per race.

🛒 Marketplace Integration

All race-enhancing items will be available in the HORSY Marketplace, purchasable using:

• $HORSY token (primary)

• Occasionally in-game rewards (race win) or airdrops

🔁 Generations

In the HORSY ecosystem, horses are categorized by generation, which plays a critical role in breeding, stats, and long-term utility.

• Gen0 horses are the foundation of the ecosystem.

• They were minted during the Genesis phase and are permanently capped at 1,120 total supply.

• These horses have extra utility, meaning:

🐣 Gen1 and Beyond – Bred Horses

All horses from Gen1 onwards are created through on-chain breeding between male and female horses. While new generations allow for faster stable expansion, they come with trade-offs:

• Reduced base stats compared to earlier generations

• Less breeding capacity

Higher-generation horses may still perform well, especially with training and boosts.
