# HORSY NTF (ERC721)

HORSY NFTs are on-chain, ERC-721 standard digital racehorses — each one completely unique, fully owned by the player, and central to the HORSY gaming experience. These NFTs serve not only as race participants but also as breeding stock, long-term assets, and competitive collectibles with gameplay-defining traits and trainable skills.

### 🧬 Genesis Mint: Gen0

The first and only public mint took place during the Genesis Phase in May–June 2025. A total of 1,120 Gen0 horses were minted by players across three phases: whitelist, guaranteed mint, and public sale.

These Gen0 horses are the foundation of the HORSY ecosystem:

* They were the only horses directly minted by the public.
* All future horses will be created via on-chain breeding, using Gen0 and their descendants.

There will never be another Gen0 mint.

### 🎭 Unique Traits & Metadata

Each HORSY NFT features a unique combination of visual and functional traits. These traits aren’t just cosmetic — many provide gameplay boosts that influence performance during races. Combined with trainable skills and generation level, they form the competitive identity of each horse.
