# Marketplace

The HORSY Marketplace is the central hub of the ecosystem — your go-to destination for all race-related items and, eventually, NFT trading.

At launch, the marketplace will focus on offering in-game consumable items such as apples, carrots, energy boosts, and lucky charms. These items can be equipped before a race to temporarily enhance specific performance stats like acceleration, endurance, or recovery — giving players a competitive edge. All purchases in the marketplace will be made exclusively using the $HORSY token, reinforcing its utility across the ecosystem.

But the vision extends far beyond consumables.

In future updates, the HORSY Marketplace will expand into a full-featured trading platform where players can buy and sell HORSY NFTs directly. This will eliminate reliance on third-party platforms and create a seamless, native experience for managing your horses, browsing collections, and scouting top performers.

Key future features will include:

* NFT listings with filters (by rarity, trait, generation, or stat profile)
* Limited-edition and event-based item drops
* Player-to-player trading and marketplace rewards
